— Mary Hargrave - Grief Coping specialist
I’m Mary Hargrave. I assist those suffering from grief to restore happiness again.
During her career as a social worker and licensed practical nurse, Mary Hargrave has coached many families and individuals through the pain of loss.
Through this work and her own personal experiences, Mary discovered her passion for finding a better way to develop grief coping strategies.
After the death of her best friend, who completed suicide, Mary found that even “through all of my studies and life experiences, I was not prepared for this sudden loss. I was never given the tools and steps to grieve with any positive outcomes.”
Mary learned about the work of the Grief Recovery Institute, whose founders created the Grief Recovery Method®, an innovative, educational and practical approach to helping people move through the grieving process.
“The Grief Recovery Method gave me the tools I needed to recover from grief and regain energy and spontaneity. It also gave me the motivating factors to assist anyone who may be suffering heartache, hopelessness and sadness to find joy and happiness again.”
Mary has studied with the Grief Recovery Institute and completed its Advanced Grief Recovery Certification Training. She utilizes this training and her years of clinical experience in creating personalized strategies for people to cope with grief and loss.
